A Guide to Visiting Scholar, Post-doctoral Application and Graduate Admission

Visiting Scholar 

We welcome scholars specializing in the fields of East Asian cross-regional history and the history of Chinese art, thought and culture, to come and join our research at IAHS. The prospective visitor should submit the following documents in paper form: (1) a completed Visiting Scholar Application Form (download from the IAHS website); (2) curriculum vitae. Post-Doctoral Fellows 

The Institute also provides post-doctoral positions to junior scholars from China and abroad. Current areas of research are: (1) Intellectual and Cultural History, Asian Culture and History, supervised by Professor Ge Zhao-guang; (2) Archeology and Art History, supervised by Professor Li Xing-ming; (3) History of Cultural Exchange between China and Foreign Regions, supervised by Professor Rui Chuan-ming and Professor Dong Shao-xin.

Deadlines of application are April 30 and November 30 each year.
