The conference was held on December 19-20th, 2011. It was the first of the series held by the academic consortium of the Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies at Fudan University, the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia, University of Tokyo, and the East Asian Program at Princeton University.

Language: Presentations will be done in English, Chinese and Japanese, and simultaneous interpretation in three languages will be offered.
