An arrangement with the Academy of East Asian Studies in Sungkyunkwan University to publish Selection of Yanxing Literature Stored in Korea

In May 2009, professor Ge and assistant professor Wang Xinlei flied to Seoul on an academic visit, aimed to promote academic interaction in the same field of research. They attended several official meeting with scholars and also gave lectures, in the Academy of East Asian Studies in Sungkyunkwan University, in Ewha Womans University and in Korea University.

During the visit, director professor Ge Zhaoguang discussed with Director Dong Soon Kim of the Academy of East Asian Studies in Sungkyunkwan University, about publishing in China a selection of Yanxing (燕行) literature stored in Korea. An agreement was formally signed which suggests the publication be completed in one and a half years. It’s going to be the debut of the precious Korean historical literature in China then.

The 30 volumes came out in August, 2011.
