Wang Yong-hao
Professor of the Department of Chinese, Fudan University, and formerly Vice-Director of the National Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies. Specializes in the study of ancient Chinese literature and diversifies at times into ancient Chinese philosophy and history. Publications include: On Moral Strength in Classical Chinese Aesthetics, The Tradition of Literary Criticism from a Contemporary Perspective, Categories and Systems in Chinese Literary Criticism, Fairyland Roamers as Part of Chinese Culture, History of Chinese Knight-Errantry, etc. Edited books include Poetic Studies in China and Readings Series of the Chinese Classical Literature. Winner of the China Book Prize.
