講座簡介：
Following an introduction dealing with the recently discovered Sanskrit manuscript of the Madhyamakāvatārabhāṣya, the lecture will concentrate on Candrakīrti’s altercation with the Yogācāra School and attempt to begin to analyze his portrayal of specific Yogācāra tenets and the reasonings he employs for their refutation. Such an analysis can, of course, only be undertaken within the larger context of his understanding of the Madhyamaka School’s view on the final nature of things.
